SKN Condemns Drone Attacks on UAE
BASSETERRE — The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis on Friday condemned recent dangerous attacks using drones and missiles on the United Arab Emirates, describing the assaults as violations of international law. The government expressed solidarity with the UAE and all others negatively affected by the violence, and urged all stakeholders to pursue constructive dialogue aimed at achieving lasting regional peace.
In an official press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the government reaffirmed its commitment to the principles of international peace, respect for territorial integrity, and the sanctity of human life. The statement emphasized the importance of safeguarding maritime security, the preservation of the marine environment, global energy stability, and international trade.
According to the government’s statement, “We reaffirm our commitment to the principles of international peace, respect for territorial integrity, and the sanctity of human life.” The government further stated that it stands in solidarity with the Government and people of the United Arab Emirates and others who have been negatively affected by the recent attacks.
