As a Junior Reporter, you will play a crucial role in our newsroom by covering local and regional stories, conducting interviews, and delivering news reports for our broadcast and digital platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and produce news stories;
- Conduct interviews and gather information from reliable sources;
- Collaborate with the news team to develop engaging content;
- Report live from the field when necessary;
- Stay updated on current events and trends;
- Adhere to ethical and professional journalistic standards.
Qualifications:
- Possess CSEC passes in English A as well as a CAPE-level pass in Communication Studies and Literature in English;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent research and interviewing abilities;
- A passion for storytelling and news reporting;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
